New Year

Silly Season Break

I wasn’t going to have a break from posting blog posts over Christmas – New Year, but I have now decided that I will. I’m just too tired not to have a break. So at some point I’m going to go bush, throw up the tent and read some books (modern-style). I could really use the break right now. Still, from time to time I may post something I come across. This will be an extended period, from the time I post this update, through to the middle of January 2018. From that point I’ll get back to more regular posts.

So let me take this opportunity to wish you all a great Christmas and New Year, and enjoy the time with family and friends if you can. – now something for a parting laugh

Tired New Year’s Eve

It’s New Year’s Eve of course and as seems to be usually the case at the moment I’m extremely tired. In fact I’ve just had what many people would call a ‘nanna nap’ – a sleep in the afternoon. It doesn’t seem to have helped a great deal, but I’d hate to think how tired I would be if I didn’t have it.

So tonight, what will I be doing? Not a lot really – just sleeping at some point. I’m not too sure if I’ll be awake come the New Year this time round. Still, hopefully the New Year will be a much better year than the one just gone.

Happy New Year all – and be safe in your celebrations.

New Years Resolutions

At this time of the year many people like to try and do something positive via a New Year’s Resolution or the like – perhaps more than one. So for today’s ‘one’ I have a link to offer. This is to a site called MySomeday.com.

This site is another take on social networking, this time offering the opportunity to share your desire to achieve something and to work out the means to do so. There is of course the opportunity to interact with others and to gain support as you seek to do so, as well as sharing ways of achieving your goal.
