iPhone App: TripList

  1. The iPhone app ‘TripList’ is a very useful app for planning a holiday. The article and videos below provide both a good introduction to the app, as well as tutorials on how to use it.

  2. If you go to the ‘enabledappssoftware’ youtube page, there are other video tutorials for using TripList there.

Spotify

  1. Now that Spotify has arrived in Australia, it is time to put together something on this music site, which is really something of a music social network/web application with a software component. It is a streaming music application, with an offline feature. It can be free service with advertising or can be a paid subscription service without advertising. One thing is for sure, with Spotify it is unlikely you will need to buy music ever again – well you may want to occasionally as there are some music artists out there that haven’t got on board with Spotify, though most have.

In this story you will find articles on Spotify and how to sign up, as well as the usual tutorial type articles and videos.

  2. Have you signed up to Spotify yet? If so, what do you think of the service? I think it is fantastic and look forward to many months and years of relatively free music via the premium service that I use.

Projeqt

  1. Most of this story will be via embedded videos from YouTube and Vimeo. These videos provide both an introduction to Projeqt, as well as tutorials for using the application. Projeqt is a similar tool to that of Storify from what I can tell.

  2. So how did you go? Have you worked out how to use Projeqt? What do you think of it?

Storybook

Today’s link is to a site for people who are interested in or are actually writing a book or books. Storybook is Open Source software and available for free. From what I’ve seen of the software and a tutorial that I found on using it, Storybook looks to be a very useful piece of software. For a change I have two links – one for the software itself and one for the tutorial I found on it.

How to Use StumbleUpon

The link below is to a tutorial on how to use StumbleUpon. It could be a useful read to some people. I use StumbleUpon quite a bit – very useful web application and social network.
