Hi all – I have been trying to keep the Blog going in recent days despite being ill again – however, as I continue to get worse it is probably wise to have a complete break for the rest of the week and get as much sleep as I can.
I have had pneumonia 3 times since November last year (twice in November and once last month) and have come down sick again. Thought I was improving over the last couple of days but have once again developed the ‘shiver me timbers (chills and fever)’ tonight. So I plan to be away from the keyboard for the rest of the week in a bid to finally get over all of this illness. I apologise for the interruption to Blog posts in the mean time.
Hi all – my previous post suggested I would be away for about a week or so because of pneumonia. It turns out my absence was for a whole lot longer than that. I ended up with Double Pneumonia twice in 6 weeks and it has been a struggle to recover. I am feeling much better now and hope to return to Blogging over the next week, posting to each again over that time. Thanks for your patience.
One of the good things about being sick – yeah, sometimes there can be good things – is that I have been getting some good sleep. I think more than anything the sleep is really helping me in the recovery of my health. So very thankful for the sleep and I will pay more attention to sleep once things return to normal also.
I have the flu again – second time in about two months. Spent most of yesterday evening/night in bed after getting home from work. So I have cheated and back-dated a video for the posts (the Summer Barcelona one). Still sick – so signing off.
This week has been a busy one and has included visiting the sick and injured members of my family. The annexed photo shows my mother, who is in a remarkable condition, considering a week prior to the photo shown she was involved in a serious car accident that clould easily have killed her. She managed to get out with just some bruising and minor abrasions. From what I understand three cars were written off in the accident, so quite amazing. The photo also shows my grandfather who now lives at a nursing home in Wallsend.
