Here’s one for those who used to play Glitch, which I believe I have posted about in the past. Many of us ‘Glitchen’ have longed for a return of Glitch and though that looks sadly unlikely, this iOS app may bring memories of the game back to life.

This is a photo of my first car, a Datsun 120Y. This was from over 20 years ago now and this car I also lost in a car accident. I was struck from behind and the impact caused my seat to shear off and go backwards, so I was unable to see what was happening. In short, the car was no longer able to be used because of damage to the chassis. There are a lot of good memories associated with this car.
I drove through Boolaroo yesterday, which was the first time in a while. Boolaroo is the town I grew up in. I have many memories of that town and of the school in the main street, which is where I did all of my primary school education – Boolaroo Public School.

I also had a quick look at the house that I grew up in – it looks nothing like it used to. It was once a well looked after, neat property – not so much anymore.

Memolane has just recently opened its online doors to all. Memolane preserves your online memories in the form of a timeline by importing your activity on other social networks like Facebook and Twitter, and plotting them on a timeline. I have been using the service for some time and have to say that I’m really happy with what Memolane has come up with. I won’t try and describe the service any further, rather I will direct you to my Memolane page where you can observe Memolane is use.

I suppose there is no real reason to actually use this web application (not that you have to use any I guess). Most web users generally have some form of bookmarks or favorites as a mechanism for remembering URLs. Wonderpage is a means of visually remembering URLs, with a thumbnail view of the web page being remembered in a grid/list of other such URL memories. Wonderpage is just another way of sharing your favorite bookmarks with others (or for yourself).
There is an add-on for Firefox and an extension for Chrome. You are also able to import bookmarks in an HTML file and from Delicious.
If I have to be critical, there seems to be no way of receiving much in the way of online help – FAQ, etc. It is also difficult to see just how you can link to your public page/profile.

Some of the photos that I’ll be posting over the next little while were taken some years ago on very ordinary cameras, so they won’t be all that brilliant. However, the photos posted here are not all about quality, they are about memories, scenery and landscapes, and so on.
The picture posted below is of The Three Sisters, which is a rock formation in the Blue Mountains to the west of Sydney at Katoomba in New South Wales, Australia. I can’t remember exactly when I took the photo, but expect it was in the late 80s or early 90s. As can be seen in the photo, the Blue Mountains is a beautiful wilderness area.
