This photo was taken during my first major trip around Australia in 1998. This photo was taken from near the plunge pool at Gunlom Falls. The plunge pool is a great place to relax and cool down on a hot summer’s day. It is also a safe place as far as crocodiles go.

placebook
Today’s link is to a site called ‘placebook.’ Sounds similar to another site called Facebook doesn’t it? Placebook is a place where all of your friends on facebook are plotted on a map of the world, along with various statistics about Facebook and your usage of it. Simply log in to placebook with your Facebook log in details and the site goes to work plotting your friends on the map. You could say the site is ‘cool,’ but I’m probably getting a little too old for such descriptions these days.

A Walk along the Beach
I decided to go for a walk along the beach today. I wasn’t feeling too well and thought the fresh air and cool breeze along the beach might be just the tonic – and it worked. So perhaps this is something to try in the future when I feel a little unwell.
