After a number of years of posting to this Blog I have decided it is time to retire the Blog and put it out to archive. I have been running a number of Blogs day in and day out for years (except when taking a break for sickness, holidays, a rest, etc) and I think it is now time I look to focus on those that mean the most to me, while also giving me more time for reading, enjoying life, etc. So it has been a good run, but it is time to move on from here. The site will stay up as an archive of those past years. Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the site.
As most people who have visited some of my Blogs know, I have a thing for running Blogs – I love managing Blogs. I have many of them that I run, with each of them serving some purpose. The link below is to a tumblr Blog that I run called ‘Wilderness Photos & Videos.’ The name is self-explanatory I think and well worth a visit if you love the world’s natural and wild places.

I have had to change two themes on two of my Blogs recently because the titles of posts weren’t showing up on the front page anymore. I think one has led to an improved look, while the second one still does not convince me. So I still need to find a theme that satisfies me (for Kevin’s Walk on the Wild Side). The only problem is there is not a lot of good ones to choose from. Eventually I’ll be happy with what I have.
The link below is to another of my Blogs, this time on Tumblr. I use this Blog to post photos and videos that I like across the web (including some of my own) of wilderness.

I have just recently downloaded both the WordPress app and the Moments! app for the iPhone. I’m hoping that these apps, along with others such as Instagram (and many other photo apps) will assist me in putting together some ‘daily’ posts from now on. That is other than the regular daily posts of a photo, video, link or quote. So hopefully some further original content to come.

The link below is to one of my Tumblr Blogs, ‘The Book Stand.’ The Book Stand is a place for finding free books available in Kindle and/or PDF formats. I post anywhere up to a dozen a day on the Blog and they are all free when posted (but they don’t all stay that way for long).
The link below is today’s link. It is to a site called ‘Dumb Little Man,’ which provides tips for saving money, increasing productivity and generally making life that little bit easier. It is essentially a weblog.

So this post is just another quick one so I can go to bed. I’ve been busy Blogging away today, getting a few posts done ahead of time and trying to get back on schedule with all of my Blogs. I have a heap going, covering all manner of topics. I love Blogging, so I spend a bit of time doing it. I created another this week, which is the website link for today – The Book Stand. It complements my other book Blog – At the BookShelf.
The Book Stand is my latest Blog offering and complements my At the BookShelf Blog. The Book Stand is a place to find free Kindle and/or pdf format ebooks, as well as good ebook offers from time to time.

If you have an ebook reader (specifically a Kindle) and would like access to free books, the site have linked to in today’s post could be just what you want. ‘Free Kindle Books and Tips’ is a Kindle Blog. I have been visiting this site on a daily basis now for several weeks and discovered some great books (possibly great as I haven’t read them all to confirm that yet).
